FAIRFIELD INN BY MARRIOTT RICHMOND

The Fairfield Inn By Marriott Richmond has an indoor swimming pool with a shallow end and a hot tub, open all year. Guests receive pool and beach towels on site, plus sun loungers or beach chairs around the water. The 24-hour fitness center provides treadmills and weights, albeit in a space that guests have noted is tight.

Family rooms at this hotel include air conditioning, heating, and private bathrooms, with some units offering mobility accessibility. Each room has a mini-fridge stored in floor-level cabinetry and a microwave located in a first-floor communal area, not in the room. The property is entirely non-smoking and includes a lift for access to all levels.

A free daily continental buffet breakfast is served, featuring hot items like eggs and biscuit sandwiches, plus a waffle maker. The hotel operates vending machines and an on-site minimarket for snacks and essentials around the clock. Nearby dining options are available within a short walk, though the property itself has no full-service restaurant.

The hotel sits at the I-70 exit for US 40, just inside Ohio at the Indiana state line, with a truck stop on the east side of the property. Guests can reach the Indiana Football Hall of Fame, Middlefork Reservoir Park, and Hayes Arboretum within a short drive. Wayne County Fairgrounds is also nearby, while James M. Cox Dayton International Airport is 53 km away.

A 24-hour front desk and business center are available, along with an ATM/cash machine on site for guest convenience. The hotel provides dry cleaning and laundry services, plus express check-in and check-out options. Safety measures include CCTV in common areas and outside the property, key card access, and smoke alarms.
